James Chartier    /    BIO

Comedian and Comedy Magician James Chartier began his professional career performing close-up magic in restaurants, where he soon started to develop his own original material.  From there, he went on presenting lectures to various magic clubs and organizations teaching fellow magicians his ideas and creations. 

James & Lori Chartier have toured with their own Magic & Illusion Shows for theaters and corporations across the country.  They were corporate magicians for several companies, worked cruise lines, casinos, and amusement parks just to name a few.  When not performing with his wife, James hits the road performing his own one man Comedy Magic Show.

James and his wife Lori, were asked to perform for The Fox World Magic Awards for Fox TV, where Lori was suspended in mid-air at several locations throughout NYC from; Wall Street to Broadway, Central Park to Washington Square.  James also appeared in Bud-Light Commercials, was an opening act for several national headliner stars and continues to perform throughout the USA.

In 2003, James and Lori started a new company designed for Kids and Family shows.  They travel throughout Florida and the mid-west, performing for Schools, Libraries, Fairs/Festivals & yes, even birthdays, entertaining with their various Kids and Family shows.  Visit:  www.showtimeforkids.com
